When Suzanne told me that she and Brian wanted to have their engagement session in their current home state of California during their initial consultation, I knew we were going to get along. When she specified that they wanted to go to Yosemite, I was like, “Book me. We’re going.”
They booked me. We went.
I have seen mountains before. My earliest childhood memories are comprised of moose drinking out of the kiddie pool, throwing my brother’s toys into the creek by our cabin, and climbing trees in the mountains of Montana. Driving through the entrance to Yosemite was a different type of magic, however. It was the perfect, semi-ethereal backdrop for Suzanne and Brian’s engagement session.
These two traipsed around the park with me for hours. With the upper portion of Yosemite Falls and Half Dome in the background, the first half of their adventure session was spent dancing and laughing in the fields of Yosemite Valley.
After exploring the valley, we headed to the base of the falls. Of course, magic ensued.
As we wrapped their session, these two remained flawless and were so sweet together.
Suzanne and Brian were a dream. Yosemite was a dream. I am so thankful for having clients who are willing to do all of the things to get the shot, as well as offering me the opportunity to cross a few things off of my bucket list. Their wedding at Saltwater Farms Vineyard next June is going to be absolutely amazing!
